So, it’s been a looooong time since I posted here, but I wanted to give a little update. Thirteen weeks have passed since I started Take Shape for Life. I’ve gone from 202.2 lbs to 162.4 lbs as of today. That’s amazing. Almost 40 lbs in less than 3 months. I’m now transitioning to the maintenance phase where I will continue to live a health lifestyle.

So, week one of my Take Shape for Life diet is over. To say the least, I’ve very happy with the results. I lost 6 lbs in a week.
The first three days or so, I spent getting used to the Medifast meals. They’re basically powders that somehow turn into food. Every time I empty a packet into a container of water, I’m certain it’s going to be gross, but somehow, I stir it up, throw it into the microwave, and bam, transformation occurs.
Anyway, the first three days I was a little light headed and had headaches because I was eating a very low sugar diet. But after that point, the headaches went away.
My wife cooked the lean and green meals for me, which were surprisingly tasty. Spices go a long way. On my 6th day, I ate at Chili’s. I had the guilt free tilapia, which fits into the lean and green plan.
So anyway, all in all, pretty excited.

So I’m doing Take Shape for Life. I’m going to lose weight and be slim for the beach this summer. The Take Shape for Life program lets you eat 6 times a day. You eat 5 of their meals and one of your own that is lean and green. The meals have low calories to help you lose weight fast. They are also low in carbs and high in protein so you don’t feel hungry.
Here is my progress bar.
